Rampey takes the win on Hartwell!
February 26, 2023, Hartwell, GA. Fifty-eight anglers came out for an unseasonably warm day of fishing, but at the end of the day it was Jayme Rampey of Liberty, SC who won the American Fishing Tour Division 25- South Carolina Northwest tournament presented by American Bass Anglers.
Running out of Green Pond Landing near Anderson, SC. Rampey brought back five bass that locked in the scales at 18.44 lb. anchored by a 5.23lb. kicker fish. For the victory, Jayme took home a nice first-place plaque and $832 cash. He also took down the first-place option pot for another $324, bringing his total winnings to $1156.
Second place was claimed by Justin Raines of Easley, SC with a five-fish limit of bass totaling 17.34lb that included a 4.44lb anchor fish. For his efforts, Raines took home the second-place plaque and $602 in prize money. He also hooked the second-place option pot for an additional $216. His total payout on the day was $818 cash.
Greg Glouse took the third place position with five good fish and a total weight of 15.88lb. and took home $339 in cash.
The fourth place position was filled by Greg Bridges with a five-fish limit that scaled out at 15.19 lb. That bag was good enough for $285 in cash.
Our fifth place was taken by Tallis Morrison, who sacked a five-fish limit that weighed 14.77lb. He took home $242 cash for his efforts.
The Biggest Bass of the tournament was caught by Jason Burroughs of Hodges, SC. His fish locked in the scales at 5.35 lb. earning him a plaque and $270 cash.

These anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the AFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, AFT National Championship tournament.
The American Fishing Tour offers low-cost, close-to-home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All anglers fish for both money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the US will be invited to the American Fishing Tour National Championship this October 11-13 at Lake Hartwell.
