John McGuffee Takes win on Jourdan

January 21st, 2023, Bay St Louis, Ms. John McGuffee won the American Fishing Tour Division 27 tournament presented by Caymas Boats.  

Running out of Bayou LaCroix near Bay St. Louis, Ms. John McGuffee brought back 5 fish that locked in the scales at 13 lbs. even anchored by a 3.70 lb. kicker.  For the victory, John took home a check for $500.

Quote from first place John McGuffee “I was on a strong bite and was blessed to be around some good quality fish.”

Second place was claimed by Craig Jackson with 5 fish and a total weight of 11.79 lbs.  For his efforts, Craig took home $288 in prize money.

Ralph Dunn took third with 5 fish and a total weight of 10.79lb and took home $94 in prize money.
The Biggest Bass of the tournament was caught by Craig Jackson.  His fish locked in the scales at 4.42lbs earning him $90.

The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the AFT Championship.
