Rickie Bonner Takes the Win on Alabama River
December 3, 2022, Prattville, AL. Rickie Bonner of Mobile, AL won the American Fishing Tour Division 24 tournament presented by American Bass Anglers on the Alabama River. Running out of Cooter’s Pond Park near Prattville, AL, Bonner brought back five-fish that locked in the scales at 14.22 pounds. For the victory, Bonner took home $478.
Second place was claimed by Tommy Pegues III with five and a total weight of 11.20 pounds. For his efforts, Pegues took home $268 in prize money.
Gene Townsend took third with four and a total weight of 7.20 pounds and took home $86 in prize money.
David Campassi caught a 4.26 pound lunker that earned him $85 for Big Bass.

These anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the AFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, AFT National Championship tournament.
