Atlas Awards Pays Anglers For Products They Probably Already Use
For more than 21 years, T-H Marine Supplies LLC, based in Huntsville, Ala., sponsored American Bass Anglers and rewarded its competitors.
“We’ve had a longstanding relationship with American Bass Anglers that has been highly beneficial to us both,” explained Shana Ramsey, Brand Marketing Director for T-H Marine Supplies. “Our sponsorship of ABA has definitely helped sales of our products and helps build a relationship with the anglers. We want to support the grassroots of the fishing industry because those are the anglers who support us by investing in our products. We are proud to be a part of it. We manufacture quality products for boats from transom to trolling motor to help the everyday boater. Some of our most popular items are the Atlas Jack Plate, Hotfoot, and HydroWave units.”
Through the Atlas Awards Program, T-H Marine Supplies pays qualifying ABA tournament anglers who do well in their events. Each ABA angler who owns at least one T-H Marine Supplies product can join the Atlas Awards Program for $29.99 per year and they must wear a T-H Marine Supplies logo on their fishing clothing. Anglers who place high in sanctioned tournaments could win cash or store credit to buy more T-H Marine Supplies gear. The amount someone could win depends on where that person finishes and which T-H Marine Supplies product the angler has and how many different products a competitor owns. All ABA tournaments are sanctioned events.
“Our products are found on virtually every recreational boat built in the United States,” Ramsey advised. “T-H Marine has been serving the marine industry since 1975 by producing high-quality boat accessories. We started the Atlas Awards Program to give something back to our customers. Each credit is worth $20 in cash or $50 in-store credit. If someone had everything on the list, that person could win up to $1,200 in cash or $3,000 in-store credit. The more anglers buy, the more they can win. The angler must win the tournament to qualify for the cash or store credit payout. However, if an Atlas Awards member does not win the tournament, but they finish in the top 10 percent they will receive $100. If they finish in the top 20 percent they will receive $50.
“T-H Marine has been offering its rewards program for years and I’ve been able to capitalize on it several times at different tournaments,” echoed Michael Smith, an angler from Andalusia, Ala. who competes in multiple ABA tournament trails. “All these great contingency programs from the ABA sponsors really help the anglers. Anyone who qualifies for these programs, but doesn’t register for them is missing out on a lot of money. Everyone uses T-H Marine products so through the Atlas Awards Program, I’m getting paid for products I’m already using anyway.”
