MIKE BLACKSHEAR WINS D72 on SINCLAIR
Mike Blackshear of Macon, Ga takes the win on Lake Sinclair at the AFT D72 tournament held on January 22, 2022. He took home the first place trophy and $680 cash for the 5 bass limit weighing 18.06 pounds. Mike said he caught most of his fish off shore in about 10 feet of water using jigs. Mike anchored his sack with a 5.02 pounder which wonadditional cash of $300 for the optional Big Bass pot and the Big Bass trophy. His total earnings for the day was $980!
We had 30 anglers braving the below freezing temperature at blast off, and cloudy conditions kept the temperature cold for most of the day. The sun popped out just as weigh-in started at 3 o'clock. All anglers brought fish to the scale!
