The D74 AFT tournament held at Lake Blackshear on 14 May 2022 was won by Luke Montgomery of Smithville, GA. Luke’s five bass tipped the scales at 13.53 pounds to take first place for $406 cash prize.
Allen and Anna Grace Branham win on Lake Mitchell
ATHENS, Ala. – Allen and Anna Grace Branham won the American Couples Series, operated by American Bass Anglers, Central Alabama Division 1 tournament, held May 1, 2022, on Lake Mitchell. Running out of Higgins Ferry boat ramp in Clanton, AL. They caught 5 bass weighing 15.68 pounds. For the victory, they earned a check for $450.00. Allen won the Man’s Big Fish with a 3.88-pounder and Anna Grace won the Woman’s Big Fish contest with a 3.79 pounder. The winning team caught their fish at the dam.
