2022 Annual Military Team Tournament
2022 Military Team Bass Tournament Registration Opens 11/11/2022

Athens, AL, November 2, 2021 – American Bass Anglers announced today the 2022 Annual Military Team Bass Tournament will be held on May 1-6, 2022, on West Point Lake GA headquartered out of LaGrange Georgia.  This event brings all branches together for a fun-filled week of competition and ultimate Service bragging rights.

Members of the United States Armed Forces from all over the country will make the drive to compete in the 31st annual event at West Point Lake.  All active duty or retired Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, National Guard, Reserve, or Coast Guard members are invited to participate.   Immediate family of military members, honorably discharged veterans, Department of Defense civilians, and contractors may also fish this event.

Statement from Visit LaGrange -----

“The annual Military Team Bass Tournament is designed to promote bass fishing among all Military Members and provide a platform for bragging rights among the Services.  West Point Lake is the ideal host for this event with the warm welcome they give all Military members,” said Morris Sheehan, president of American Bass Anglers.

Surrounded by deep forests and rolling fields, West Point Lake, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, extends 35 miles along the Chattahoochee River on the Alabama-Georgia state line. The lake's 525 miles of shoreline provide excellent opportunities for fishing, camping, boating, and other recreational activities. Located around the lake are day-use parks, campgrounds, two commercial marinas, beach areas, fishing piers, and public hunting areas. Most of the parks have picnic shelters, boat launching ramps with courtesy docks, nature trails, and great access to the lake for fishing

Registration will open on Veterans Day, November 11 at 8:00 am central time. For more information on this tournament, call ABA at 256-232-0406 or see www.americanbassanglers.com.
