Russell Hazelton wins on Lake Mitchell

January 9, 2021, Clanton, AL.  Russell Hazelton of Enterprise, AL won the American Fishing Tour Central Alabama Division tournament presented by American Bass Anglers.  Running out of Higgins Ferry Boat Launch on Lake Mitchell near Clanton, AL Hazelton brought back five fish that locked in the scales at 15.3 pounds.  For the victory Hazelton took home a check for $401.

Second amongst the competitors was Kevin Revay with 5 fish that locked in the scales at 13.82 pounds.  For his efforts he took home $187 in prize money.
  
The Biggest Bass of the tournament was caught by Karl Youngblood.  His big fish locked in the scales at 5.4 pounds earning him $60.

The next tournament in this division will take place on February 6, 2021 launching from the State Ramp on Jordan Lake near Wetumpka, AL.

These anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers BPSFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the BPSFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, BPSFT National Championship tournament.
