Center Hill Double Header

May 6, 2020, Athens, AL. May 16 and 17 ABA will host a special doubleheader weekend for central Tennessee on Center Hill Lake in Sparta, TN. On Saturday, the second Bass Pro Shops Open Series Central Tennessee Division tournament will be held. On Sunday, the second Bass Pro Shops Open Triton Team Tour for Central Tennessee will be held. Both events will launch from Ragland Bottoms Launch at Ragland Bottom Rd. Sparta, Tennessee 38583.

Duane Wardlaw of Smyrna , TN, is currently leading in the division after his 20.44 pounds win on Percy Priest in March. 

On the team tour, Chase Hunnell and Mason Nicholson took the first team win of the year with 21.37 on Kentucky Lake on a cold day in late February.  The team won a 2020 Triton Bass Boat with a Mercury outboard for their efforts. 

The last time the tour was on Center Hill was last March, where Adam Wagner, the 2013 Ray Scott Champion, of Scottsboro, AL won the event with 17.61. 

This is a two for one weekend with the Saturday Bass Pro Shops Open Series event and Sunday the Bass Pro Shops Triton Team Tour. Both events are on Center Hill and out of Ragland Bottoms Launch.

The Bass Pro Shops Open Series is a Pro-Am format, and the Bass Pro Shops Triton Team Tour is a Team format. Anglers can sign up for one of both events.

Stringent guidelines of social distancing will be used and enforced that these events and all anglers would read and follow ABA guidelines that will be applied to events from this link.

The Bass Pro Shops Open Series offers $5,000 first place with a minimum number of anglers, and the Bass Pro Shops Triton Team Tour will award a new Triton Bass Boat for first place. 

Boater Entry Fee for the Bass Pro Shops Open Series is $210, Co-Angler entry fee is $105. Team Entry fee for the Bass Pro Shops Triton Team Tour is $250 per team
