Jacksons Dominate on Grand Lake
Father and son Kevin and Bryan Jackson from Monet, Missouri, took first and second place on Division 65’s last one-day tournament on Grand Lake on July 13, 2019. Bryan Jackson took first place with a winning weight of 20.98 lbs. and his father Kevin Jackson brought in 17.18 lbs. of lively Florida-strain bass to garner second place. It appeared that the bass were spread out in heavy cover and these two anglers had what it took to each bring in five big bass. Bryan Jackson also received “big bass” honors with a 6.94 lb. momma bass walking away with almost $400 in cash prizes for the day.
The next tournament is Division 65’s two-day event scheduled for September 28 & 29, 2019, on Grand Lake at the Terra Miranda Ramp located on Monkey Island, OK. Tera Miranda has also advised that anglers fishing the two-day event may receive accommodations at a discounted rate of $50/night by mentioning that they are with ABA.

The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers BPSFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the BPSFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, BPSFT National Championship tournament.
The Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All anglers fish for both money and points.
