Florida Central Returns to Kissimmee Chain

ATHENS, Ala. – The Florida Central Division of the 2019 Bass Pro Shops Open Series presented by American Bass Anglers will hold its fourth event of the season on June 8, 2019, on the Kissimmee Chain near Lake Wales, FL. The competitors will launch at Camp Mack, a Guy Harvey Lodge, Marina, & RV Resort located at 14900 Camp Mack Road, Lake Wales, FL, 33898. Anglers may begin fishing at 6:15a.m. or safe light. The weigh-in will begin at 2:30 p.m. Registration begins at 4 p.m. local time at Camp Mack with the tournament briefing to begin at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening.

To enter, anglers fishing the Boater Division pay $210 with co-anglers paying $105. The payout for all events will be based on the number of entries, for one-day divisional events, $5000 will go the winning boater based on a minimum of 60 boats, for each 2-day Area Championship $10,000 for boaters and $5,000 for co-anglers based on 100 boats. Anglers fishing the Boater Division may weigh in up to five bass, each at least 12 inches long with an exemption permit available at registration. Co-anglers may weigh in up to three bass. 

In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, boater and co-angler competitors may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, MotorGuide, T-H Marine, Power Pole, Berkley and ABU Garcia. Limit: 5 bass for Boaters / 3 bass for Co-Anglers
Size Limit: 12" with a Signed Exemption Permits. Exemption Permits will be available at registration.
Take Off: 6:15am or Safe Light
Weigh In: 2:30pm
Time Zone: Eastern
Locking is allowed but NO locking south of Hwy 60 bridge.

Registration & Meeting will be at the ABA Stage Trailer Friday June 7, 2019 from 4:00pm to 6:30pm with the meeting and partner pairing starting at 7:00pm at Camp Mack, a Guy Harvey Lodge, Marina & RV Resort

Co-anglers are asked to park behind the storage buildings near the Lodge on tournament days. They will be using golf carts to shuttle anglers down to the ramp area. Co-anglers please DO NOT park down by the ramp area, that is for truck and trailer parking only.
