The father and daughter team of John and Grace Campbell ran away with the Cooper River Tournament!

The 3rd tournament of the South Carolina series was held on November 10th on the Cooper River in Moncks Corner.  It’s been a long time since the South Carolina Couples have seen a tournament on the lower part of the state.  Hope everyone enjoyed fishing the grass in this tidal river.  Several large bass were weighed in including the largest of the year so far for both the men and ladies.  Fish were caught using several different techniques from top water to bottom fishing.  This river system has something for everyone.

We are pleased to welcome 12 new ABA members that joined our group at this event:
Nigel Goewey & Christina Gall
John Campbell & Grace Campbell
Randy Gibson & Jamie Gibson
John "Louie" Lewis & Melody Robinson
Gene Wiggins & Bertie Wiggins
Dewayne Cothran & Kristina Cothran

We started the morning off with coffee, hot cocoa and pastries at blast-off and finished up with bbq sandwiches at weigh in. Hopefully, no one went away hungry.

Congratulations to our first place finishers, the father and daughter team of John & Grace Campbell with 5 fish weighing 13.14 lbs.

Dale Goff & Victoria Chase Goff took home 2nd place with 4 fish weighing 9.05 lbs. Dale Goff also had men's big fish with a 6.13 lb large mouth.

Chris Seigler & Wanda Walker placed 3rd with 3 fish weighing 8.88 lbs.

Kristina Cothran brought in a 5.89 large mouth to secure ladies big fish.

Berkeley Outdoors sponsored the smallest 5 fish limit prize going to Clay & Lisa Kolb with 7.27 lbs. Congratulations to all of our winners.
