Kentucky Open Series heads to Lake Barkley
The Kentucky Division of the Bass Pro Shop Opens Series will hold its second event on April 20, 2019, on Lake Barkley at Kuttawa Lyon County Ramp. The competitors will launch from Kuttawa Lyon County Ramp, located at Kuttawa Lyon County Ramp, Kuttawa, Kentucky 42055. Anglers may begin fishing at 6:00 a.m. or safe light. The weigh-in will begin at 3:00 p.m. Registration begins at 4 p.m. on 04/19/2019 at the Tournament Trailer set up at Kuttawa Lyon County Ramp.
To enter, anglers fishing the Boater Division pay $210 with co-anglers paying $105.
Anglers fishing the Boater Division may weigh in up to five bass, each at least 15" Smallmouth, Largemouth, or Spotted Bass. Co-anglers may weigh in up to three bass.
In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, boater and co-angler competitors fishing this tournament and Bass Pro Shops Open Series events throughout the season may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, MotorGuide, T-H Marine, and ABU Garcia. Semento Wins $5400 in Florida Central Season Opener on Lake Toho
ATHENS, Ala. – Jonathan Semento of Okahumpka, FL won the Bass Pro Shops Open Series Florida Central tournament, held January 11th on Lake Toho. Running out of Kissimmee Lakefront Park in Kissimmee, FL Semento caught four bass weighing 16.75 pounds including a 7.19-pound kicker. For the Boater Division victory, Semento took home a check for $5400 for his win.
John Rice and Paul Arnold Take Home Two New Tritons at Chickamauga
John Rice of Huntsville, Al and Paul Arnold of Woodville, Al. won the Bass Pro Shops Team Tour Championship, held October 5th and 6th on Lake Chickamauga. Launching out of Dayton Boat Dock and Grill. John and Paul went straight to work and caught a two-day limit of 10 bass weighing 36.51 pounds. For their victory, the team took home 2 Triton TX-17 boats equipped with 60 HP Mercury outboards and Garmin electronics valued at $40,000.
