Moody Wins On Stockton
American Bass Anglers Division 126 held a tournament on Stockton Lake April 13, 2019. After several warm days, a cold front moved into the area Friday night, dropping the water temperature several degrees. In spite of the cool weather and much cooler water temperatures, most of the ABA anglers had a 5-fish limit.
The top five finishers were Kansas anglers including 1st place Mark Moody with 12.77lbs, 2nd place Eric Craft with 11.74lbs, 3rd place Glenn Harrison with 11.27lbs, 4th place Tony French with 10.46lbs and 5th place Becky Minorwith 10.04lbs
Anglers scoured all sections of the lake, going up the Little Sac, Son’s Creek as well as the Big Sac. Some fished the main lake. The crank bait was the most reported lure used.
This was one of a series of D126 tournaments, all held on Stockton Lake. The next tournament is May 18, 2019. A full 2019 schedule can be seen at www.centralmidwestbass.com along with the full results of previous tournaments with pictures of many of the anglers. Using two stabilizer clips that attach to an outboard motor's hydraulic steering rams, STEER STOP® works by keeping the engine centered and preventing damage that occurs when a motor swings left and right during transport. The new and improved STEER STOP® is now available online and will also be available through a variety of retailers.
“The original STEER STOP® paved the way, but it was time to make improvements so it could be even more reliable, more durable, and easier to use,” said T-H Marine President and CEO, Jeff Huntley. “Now boaters will notice several ways the new STEER STOP® stands apart from imitation and performs better than any other hydraulic steering lock on the market.”
