Florida Central Opens on Toho
ATHENS, Ala. – The Florida Central Division of the 2019 Bass Pro Shops Open Series presented by American Bass Anglers will open the season on January 12, 2019, on Lake Toho in Kissimmee, FL.
Micah Silverman of Belle Isle, FL won the opening event last year (January 20, 2018) with 23.43 pounds and took home the $5000 First-Place Boater prize. Eric VanLandingham of Seffner, FL was the co-angler winner with an 8.10-pound limit. Eric’s victory in the co-angler division earned him a check for $2400. James Watkins landed the biggest bass of the tournament with an 8.25-pound bass, that earned him $990
The competitors will launch at Kissimmee Lakefront Park, located at 69 Lakeview Drive, Kissimmee, FL, 34741. Anglers may begin fishing at 7:00 a.m. or safe light. The weigh-in will begin at 3:00 p.m. Registration begins at 4 p.m. local time at Kissimmee Lakefront Park with the tournament briefing to begin at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening.

To enter, anglers fishing the Boater Division pay $210 with co-anglers paying $105. The payout for all events will be based on the number of entries, for one-day divisional events, $5000 will go the winning boater based on a minimum of 60 boats, for each 2-day Area Championship $10,000 for boaters and $5,000 for co-anglers based on 100 boats.
Anglers fishing the Boater Division may weigh in up to five bass, each at least 12 inches long with an exemption permit available at registration. Co-anglers may weigh in up to three bass.
In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, boater and co-angler competitors may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, MotorGuide, T-H Marine, Power Pole, Berkley, and ABU Garcia. Ezerski takes the win on Potomac River
August 4th, 2019, Smallwood State Park, MD. Shawn Ezerski of Mt Airey, MD won the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour Maryland Division 11 Two Day Divisional Championship tournament presented by American Bass Anglers. Running out of Smallwood State Park near Marbury, Maryland Shawn brought back five-fish on day one that locked in the scales at 9.97 pounds and three fish on day two at 12.08 pounds for a total two-day limit of 22.05 pounds anchored by a 4.72-pound kicker.
Kentucky Lake Division August 4, 2019
The ABA Bass Pro Shops Couples Tour, Kentucky Lake Division completed their final tournament of 2019 this Sunday. The weather was nearly perfect right up to the weigh-in, at which time Mother Nature dropped high winds and heavy rains for about an hour. Fifteen teams participated today out of the Big Bear ramp. Teams fought a very tough bite all day. A total of 23 bass were brought to the scales for a combined weight of 64.98 pounds. We paid out a total of $1,275.

Davis and Butler win a new Triton boat on Lake Guntersville
Sunday, May 5th, 2019 the ABA Triton 100% Plus Team Tour held its second tournament of the regular season that launched from Goosepond Bait and Tackle on Lake Guntersville located in Scottsboro, AL. Eighty-three teams went head to head, on a sunny but windy day, to try and win the 2019 Triton 17TX powered by a 60HP Mercury four-stroke with Garmin Echo-map plus 93SV valued at 20K. With a massive six-and-a-half-pound lead over 2nd place, Seth Davis and Brent Butler took the victory weighing in 5 fish for a whopping weight of 29.69 pounds.
