Georgia and Alabama South head to Lake Eufaula for Area 3 Championship
The ABA Open Series Georgia Division and Alabama South Division will hold their final event of the 2018 season on September 8th-9th, 2018 on Lake Eufaula.
The competitors will launch from Lakepoint Resort State Park landing in Eufaula, Alabama. Anglers may begin fishing at 6: 15 am or safe light on days one and two. The weigh in will begin at 2:30 p.m. each day. All anglers will compete both days of the event. There will NOT be a cut in the field. Registration begins at 4 p.m. on Friday September 7th in the lodge at Lakepoint Resort State Park. Registration for this event ends at 6:30 pm on Friday September 7th with the meeting and partner pairing starting at 7:00 pm local time. To register for this tournament, see:
All anglers are required to have either a Georgia or Alabama fishing license.
Anglers fishing the Boater division may weigh in up to 5 bass each day at least 14 inches in length for largemouth bass and 12 inches for spotted bass. Co anglers may weigh in up to 3 bass each day at least 14 inches in length for largemouth and 12 inches for spotted bass.
To qualify Anglers must have fished a total of three events within one (1) division or a combination of four events within the two divisions. To enter anglers fishing the Boater division pay $300.00 and Co anglers pay $150.00.
First place boater is guaranteed a minimum of $10,000. First place Co-angler is guaranteed a minimum of $5,000.
Also, the top 10 boaters and the top 10 co-anglers in points from each division after the two-day is completed as well as the top 5 boaters and top 5 co-anglers by place of finish at the two day event (that haven’t already qualified by points) will qualify for the Ray Scott Championship on Lake Eufaula in April 2019.
In addition to cash and prizes for top finishes, boaters and co anglers fishing this tournament and ABA Open Series events throughout the season may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, Motorguide, T-H Marine, Abu Garcia, and Maui Jim. Tassi Wins Big At D126 Championship
You could say the fish were biting this week-end on Stockton Lake! Division 126 had their final 2019 season tournament which was the 2-dayD126 Championship. All 23 anglers weighed fish on day 1. Lucas Fornelli was leading with 18.51 anchored with 6.28 big bass. Not to be outdone, Scott Tassi caught a 7.58 big bass on day 2 and 22.37 for the day. Tassi's 2-day total was 38.23 giving him the win.
Kentucky Lake Division July 14, 2019
The ABA Couples Tour, Kentucky Lake Division completed their 6th tournament of 2019 this Sunday. The weather was nearly perfect with cooler temperatures, overcast skies and a slight breeze all day. The fish however, were not in a perfect mood. Sixteen teams participated today out of the Paris Landing ramp. It was a tough bite all day. A total of 20 bass were brought to the scales for a combined weight of 59.2 pounds. We paid out a total of $1,350.

Davis and Butler win a new Triton boat on Lake Guntersville
Sunday, May 5th, 2019 the ABA Triton 100% Plus Team Tour held its second tournament of the regular season that launched from Goosepond Bait and Tackle on Lake Guntersville located in Scottsboro, AL. Eighty-three teams went head to head, on a sunny but windy day, to try and win the 2019 Triton 17TX powered by a 60HP Mercury four-stroke with Garmin Echo-map plus 93SV valued at 20K. With a massive six-and-a-half-pound lead over 2nd place, Seth Davis and Brent Butler took the victory weighing in 5 fish for a whopping weight of 29.69 pounds.
