Virginia Division Heads to Lake Gaston
ATHENS, Ala. – The Virginia Division of The ABA Open Series will hold its fourth event of the season on Lake Gaston in Bracey, Virginia.
The competitors will launch at Holly Grove Marina located at 8826 Hwy 903 Bracey, Virginia 23919. To enter, anglers fishing the Boater Division pay $200 with co-anglers paying $100. First place boater is guaranteed a minimum $5,000 first place for boaters.
In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, boater and co-angler competitors fishing this tournament and ABA Open Series events throughout the season may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, MotorGuide, T-H Marine, ABU Garcia and Maui Jim. Limit: 5 bass for the boaters/ 3 bass for the co-anglers
Size limit: 2 bass between 12-14 inches in length, remainder 14 inches or greater in length.
Take off: 6:30 a.m. or safe light
Weigh in 2:30 p.m.
Time zone: Eastern
All anglers must have a valid North Carolina or Virginia fishing license in your possession.

Donald Griffith Takes the Win on the Tensaw River
May 31, 2020, Mobile, AL. Donald Griffith of Robertsdale, Alabama won the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour Division 41 Two Day tournament presented by American Bass Anglers on the Tensaw River. Running out of Live Oak Landing, Griffith brought back a two day total that locked in the scales at 20.87 pounds. For the victory Griffith took home $802.
Bobby and Karen Holman win on Lake Mitchell
Bobby and Karen Holman won the Bass Pro Shops Couples Series, operated by American Bass Anglers, Central Alabama Division 1 tournament, held May 16, 2020, on Lake Mitchell. Running out of Higgins Ferry boat ramp out of Clanton, AL, they caught 5 bass weighing 14.85 pounds. For the victory, they earned a check for $500.00. Bobby won the Man’s Big Fish with a 4.39-pound kicker. They caught their fish early in the morning in shallow water.
Weiss Lake Double Header
June 1, 2020, Athens, AL. June 6 and 7 ABA will host a doubleheader weekend on Weiss Lake in Centre AL. On Saturday, the third tournament for the Bass Pro Shops Open Series North Alabama Division will be held. Sunday, the Bass Pro Shops Team Tour will be held. Both events will launch from Little River Marina, 1780 County Rd. 102 Cedar Bluff, Alabama 35959.

Athens, AL. June 1, 2020, American Bass Anglers announced today significant changes to the Bass Pro Shops Team Trail.
Due to the many circumstances surrounding the current pandemic many manufacturing facilities have been brought to a standstill making it impossible for sponsors to supply boats to the remaining Team Trail events.
