Wally Peer Takes the win on Hopatcong
Wally Peer won the American Fishing Tour New Jersey Division 10 tournament held on 07/29/2018 at Lake Hopatcong. Division 10 was running out of Lee’s Park Marina in Mt. Arlington, NJ.
Peer of Succasunna, NJ caught 5-bass weighing 12.11-pounds. For the victory, Wally took home a check for $543.00. Wally caught his fish using soft plastic in deep weeds. Peer also collected and additional $100 for the Big Fish side pot with a 4.36-pound Large Mouth.
Second among the competitors was Bryan Mantie of Branchburg, NJ who caught 5-bass weighing 11.15-pounds. Bryan took home $329.00 for his efforts.
Third was Nick Chaballa of Bridgewater, NJ with 5-fish weighing 10.45-pounds, and collected $108.00.

These anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the AFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, AFT National Championship tournament.
The American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. Tallent Takes The Win on Cherokee Lake
ATHENS, Ala. – Joseph Tallent of Knoxville TN won the Bass Pro Shops Open Series event held on Cherokee Lake on 5/11/19. Running out of the Hamblen County public dock Tallent weighed in a five bass limit weighing 15.14 pounds. His limit was anchored by a bass weighing 4.73 pounds. He took home a check for $1400.00 for the win.
Davis and Butler win a new Triton boat on Lake Guntersville
Sunday, May 5th, 2019 the ABA Triton 100% Plus Team Tour held its second tournament of the regular season that launched from Goosepond Bait and Tackle on Lake Guntersville located in Scottsboro, AL. Eighty-three teams went head to head, on a sunny but windy day, to try and win the 2019 Triton 17TX powered by a 60HP Mercury four-stroke with Garmin Echo-map plus 93SV valued at 20K. With a massive six-and-a-half-pound lead over 2nd place, Seth Davis and Brent Butler took the victory weighing in 5 fish for a whopping weight of 29.69 pounds.
