Kentucky Division heads to Kentucky Dam Marina

The Kentucky Division will hold its next tournament of the 2018 season on Kentucky Lake at Kentucky Dam Marina in Gilbertsville, Kentucky on Saturday, June 23, 2018.

Boats will launch from Kentucky Dam Marina, Ramp Address: 466 Marina Drive Gilbertsville, KY 42044. Anglers will blast off at 5:15 a.m. or safe light. The weigh-in will be at 2:00 p.m. Registration will be held at the tournament trailer at Kentucky Dam Marina on Friday June 22, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. with a meeting following at 6:30 p.m.

To enter, anglers fishing the Boater division pay $200 with Co-Anglers paying $100. First place is guaranteed a minimum $5,000 first place for Boaters.  tolearning more about this payout visit www.abaopenseries.com/payout.php

Anglers fishing the Boaterdivision may weigh in up to five bass, each at least 15” Smallmouth, Largemouth, Spotted Bass.  Co-Anglers may weigh in up to three bass

In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, boater and co-angler competitors fishing this tournament and Open Series events throughout the season may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, MotorGuide, T-H Marine, and ABU Garcia. On November 11th, 2018  twenty-nine anglers launched from the Dorn Facility Landing near McCormick, SC.  The temps started out around 33 degrees and warmed up into the low 60’s by the 3 pm weigh in time. Water temps were in the mid 60’s due to several cold rains before the tournament.
