ABA Open Series NE heads to Lake Champlain
ATHENS, Ala. – The ABA Open Series NE will hold its next event of the season on June 16, 2018, on Lake Champlain in Ticonderoga.
The competitors will launch at the Ticonderoga Ferry Boat Launch on Route 74 at Ticonderoga Ferry. Anglers may begin fishing at 5:30 a.m. or safe light. The weigh-in will begin at 2:30 p.m. Registration begins at 4 p.m. on Friday June 15th at the stage. To register for this event click here
To enter, anglers fishing the Boater Division pay $200 with co-anglers paying $100. First place is guaranteed a minimum $5,000 first place for boaters. To learn more about the payout visit www.abaopenseries.com/payout.php
Anglers fishing the Boater Division may weigh in up to five bass, each at least 12 inches long. Co-anglers may weigh in up to three bass.
In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, boater and co-angler competitors fishing the ABA Open Series events throughout the season may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, MotorGuide, T-H Marine, and ABU Garcia. 2020 Championship Old Hickory Lake
July 22, 2020, Athens, AL. The Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour 2020 Championship online registration will begin on July 27, 2020, at 8 am. This year’s championship will be on Old Hickory Lake in Gallatin, Tennessee Launching out of Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville, October 21, 22, and 23 with Sumner County Tourism hosting.

Snyder Takes the Win on The Potomac River
ATHENS, Ala. – Danny Snyder of Annandale, VA won the Bass Pro Shops Open Series event held on the Potomac River on 8/2/20. Running out of Smallwood State Park Snyder weighed in five bass weighing 14.49 pounds. His limit was anchored by a bass weighing 3.65 lbs. Snyder took home $2200.00 for his catch.
Hopkins and Jenkins Take Team Tour Win on Old Hickory
The Team of John Hopkins and Tad Jenkins won the Bass Pro Shops Team Tour event held July 26th on Old Hickory. Running out of Flippers in Gallatin, TN John and Tad brought back a 5-fish limit to the scales that weighed in at 16.96-lbs. For the victory, they took home $3,600.
