Gene Childers Garners Win on Grand Lake
Division 65 American Bass Anglers’ fourth tournament out of Tera Miranda occurred on Saturday, May 19, 2018, with an unusually hot, steamy day for spring fishing in Oklahoma. Gene Childers of Vinita, OK, took first place honors and over $300 in cash prizes with a five fish limit and a total weight of 12.84 lbs. including big bass honors with a fish weighing 4.04 lbs.
Congratulations to the youngest angler of the tournament Rylan Colpetzer for his days catch.
The next tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 2, 2018, on Grand Lake at the Tera Miranda Ramp located on Monkey Island, OK followed by the two-day classic which is scheduled for June 23-24.

These anglers accrued valuable points toward the Divisional Angler of the Year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the AFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, AFT National Championship tournament.

Roger Farr Takes the win on Greenwood
Roger Farr of Little Mountain, SC won the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour D96 tournament held 12/30/2018 on Lake Greenwood. Running out of Greenwood State Park near Ninety Six, SC Roger brought back a five-fish limit that locked in the scales at 14.38-lbs. For his victory and first place in the option pot, he took home $545, along with the first place trophy.
South Carolina Couples Cancels 12/8 Tournament
The South Carolina Couples Division 11 has canceled the 12/8 tournament scheduled for Lake Wateree. This decision has been made due to falling lake levels, the ramp and the launch site is inaccessible. Jai Hunter Sr. Wins $5500 on Lake Okeechobee
ATHENS, Ala. – Jai Hunter Sr. of Deland, FL won the Bass Pro Shops Open Series Florida Central tournament, held January 19th on the Lake Okeechobee. Running out of Roland Martin Marina & Resort in Clewiston, FL the Jai Sr. caught five-bass weighing 18.10-pounds. For the Boater Division victory, Hunter Sr. took home a check for $5500 for his win.
Galbraith and Mason win the Triton 100% Plus Team Tour Championship
The team of Roy Galbraith of Guin, Alabama and Richard Mason of Athens, Alabama took home the win in the American Bass Anglers Triton Plus 100% Team Tour Championship, held on Pickwick Lake November 3rd and 4th, 2018.
