Georgia Division Heads to Sinclair
ATHENS, Ala. – The Georgia Division of the ABA Open Series will host the third event of the 2018 season April 28, 2018, on Lake Sinclair in Milledgeville, GA
The competitors will launch at Little River Park, located at 3069 North Columbia Street, Milledgeville, GA 31061. Anglers may begin fishing at 6:30 a.m. or safe light. The weigh-in will begin at 3:00 p.m. Registration begins at 4 p.m. local time at Little River Park with the tournament briefing to begin at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening.

To enter, anglers fishing the Boater Division pay $200 with co-anglers paying $100. First place is guaranteed a minimum $5,000 first place for boaters. To learn more about the payout visit www.abaopenseries.com/payout.php
Anglers fishing the Boater Division may weigh in up to five bass, each at least 12 inches long and Co-anglers may weigh in up to three bass.
In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, boater and co-angler competitors fishing this tournament and ABA Open Series events throughout the season may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, MotorGuide, T-H Marine, ABU Garcia, Maui Jim and Livingston Lures. David Lowery wins D72 on Oconee
David Lowery of Milledgeville, Ga took home the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour first place trophy and $775 cash for the D72 tournament held on November 30, 2019, at Lake Oconee. David said he caught his five-fish limit early, using a Big Bite Baits Kamikaze Craw on a quarter ounce shaky head. His total scale weight was 15.08 pounds, and it was secured by a 5.01 kicker.
Terry Durham and Ann Boatright win on Lay Lake
ATHENS, Ala. – Terry Durham and Ann Boatright won the Bass Pro Shops Couples Series, operated by American Bass Anglers, Central Alabama Division 1 tournament, held November 16, 2019, on Lay Lake. Running out of the LaCoosa Marina in Shelby, AL the team caught 5 bass weighing 12.15 pounds. For the victory, they earned a check for $450.00.
2020 Bass Pro Shop Open Series Kick Off Event
December 2, 2019, Athens, AL. The first Bass Pro Shop Open Series event is only 41 days away. The 2020 Kick off event will be on Lake Toho. The event will lauch out of Lakefront Park located in Kissimmee, FL on January 11, 2020.
At the 2019 kick off event Eric Panzironi of Longwood, FL weight a big sack of bass of 26.67 pounds to win $5,600 for first place. “I stayed on Toho all day. I found a big school of fish last weekend, and they stayed in the same area. I pulled up to that spot and was done by 9:30 am. Last week they were smaller, but the bigger fish moved up to that area. It feels great to start the season with a win,” Panzironi said.
John Rice and Paul Arnold Take Home Two New Tritons at Chickamauga
John Rice of Huntsville, Al and Paul Arnold of Woodville, Al. won the Bass Pro Shops Team Tour Championship, held October 5th and 6th on Lake Chickamauga. Launching out of Dayton Boat Dock and Grill. John and Paul went straight to work and caught a two-day limit of 10 bass weighing 36.51 pounds. For their victory, the team took home 2 Triton TX-17 boats equipped with 60 HP Mercury outboards and Garmin electronics valued at $40,000.
