Rick Tendell Takes the win on Seminole
Rick Tendell from Bainbridge, GA is one step closer to the American Fishing Tour National Championship with a first place win in the American Fishing Tour Seminole Division 114 bass tournament held on Lake Seminole April 8, 2018. Rick’s limit weighed in at 22.51 pounds. Rick’s winning strategy was throwing a crankbait.
Big Bass was awarded to Chris Lynch for catching a 6.55-pound largemouth bass.
These anglers are acquiring valuable points to ensure their birth into the American Fishing Tour National Championship. Their points are also being used to determine the divisional angler of the year. The top angler by points earned in this division will represent the division in the Angler of the Year final round.

2019 American Fishing Tour
Athens, AL. American Bass Anglers (ABA) announced today the 2019 season for the American Fishing Tour (AFT). The tour is a draw format that offers more than seventy divisions with 600-900 tournaments per season across the eastern half of the United States. Members of ABA qualify for the year-end national championship by competing locally in a minimum of four one-day divisional qualifying events and a Divisional two-day championship.

The South Carolina Couples Division 11 has canceled the 12/8 tournament scheduled for Lake Wateree. This decision has been made due to falling lake levels, the ramp and the launch site is inaccessible. Galbraith and Mason win the Triton 100% Plus Team Tour Championship
The team of Roy Galbraith of Guin, Alabama and Richard Mason of Athens, Alabama took home the win in the American Bass Anglers Triton Plus 100% Team Tour Championship, held on Pickwick Lake November 3rd and 4th, 2018. Launching out of McFarland Park in Florence, Alabama, the team of Galbraith and Mason caught a five-bass limit on day one weighing 17.28-pounds
