McGovern wins D49 at Lake Ozark
Tom McGovern of Warsaw, MO won the American Fishing Tour Division 49 tournament held 03/24/2018 on Lake Ozark. Running out of Shawnee Bend Tom brought back 4 fish to the scales for a total weight of 7.37 pounds. He took home $543for his victory.
Second place was claimed by Bruce Gandy of Springfield, MO with 3 fish that went for 5.43 pounds. He collected $329 for his efforts.
Tom Waters of Independence, MO only brought back on fish to the scales, but it was big enough to claim Third place and Big Bass. His fish locked in at in impressive 5.17 pounds. Tom took home $298 for his fish.
Well it was a great day to fish, but the fish didn't bite well. There was a total 19 different tournaments on Lake Ozark today not many limits were caught and many came in with blanks. Division 49 had 14 out of 20 anglers bring fish to the scales.

2019 American Fishing Tour
Athens, AL. American Bass Anglers (ABA) announced today the 2019 season for the American Fishing Tour (AFT). The tour is a draw format that offers more than seventy divisions with 600-900 tournaments per season across the eastern half of the United States. Members of ABA qualify for the year-end national championship by competing locally in a minimum of four one-day divisional qualifying events and a Divisional two-day championship.
South Carolina Couples Cancels 12/8 Tournament
The South Carolina Couples Division 11 has canceled the 12/8 tournament scheduled for Lake Wateree. This decision has been made due to falling lake levels, the ramp and the launch site is inaccessible. Galbraith and Mason win the Triton 100% Plus Team Tour Championship
The team of Roy Galbraith of Guin, Alabama and Richard Mason of Athens, Alabama took home the win in the American Bass Anglers Triton Plus 100% Team Tour Championship, held on Pickwick Lake November 3rd and 4th, 2018.
