Florida South Returns to Lake Okeechobee
ATHENS, Ala. – The Florida South Division of the American Bass Anglers Open Series will return for the third event of the 2018 season March 24, 2018, on Lake Okeechobee in Okeechobee, FL.
The competitors will launch at Scott Driver Park, located at 10100 W Hwy 78, Okeechobee, FL 34974. Anglers may begin fishing at 7:15 a.m. or safe light. The weigh-in will begin at 3:15 p.m. Registration begins at 4 p.m. local time at Scott Driver Park with the tournament briefing to begin at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening. To enter, anglers fishing the Boater Division pay $200 with co-anglers paying $100. First place is guaranteed a minimum $5,000 first place for boaters. To learn more about the payout click here
Anglers fishing the Boater Division may weigh in up to five bass, each at least 12 inches long with an exemption permit available at registration. Co-anglers may weigh in up to three bass.
In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, boater and co-angler competitors fishing this tournament and American Bass Anglers Open Series events throughout the season may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, MotorGuide, T-H Marine, and ABU Garcia. Tassi Wins Big At D126 Championship
You could say the fish were biting this week-end on Stockton Lake! Division 126 had their final 2019 season tournament which was the 2-dayD126 Championship. All 23 anglers weighed fish on day 1. Lucas Fornelli was leading with 18.51 anchored with 6.28 big bass. Not to be outdone, Scott Tassi caught a 7.58 big bass on day 2 and 22.37 for the day. Tassi's 2-day total was 38.23 giving him the win.
Kentucky Lake Division July 14, 2019
The ABA Couples Tour, Kentucky Lake Division completed their 6th tournament of 2019 this Sunday. The weather was nearly perfect with cooler temperatures, overcast skies and a slight breeze all day. The fish however, were not in a perfect mood. Sixteen teams participated today out of the Paris Landing ramp. It was a tough bite all day. A total of 20 bass were brought to the scales for a combined weight of 59.2 pounds. We paid out a total of $1,350.

Davis and Butler win a new Triton boat on Lake Guntersville
Sunday, May 5th, 2019 the ABA Triton 100% Plus Team Tour held its second tournament of the regular season that launched from Goosepond Bait and Tackle on Lake Guntersville located in Scottsboro, AL. Eighty-three teams went head to head, on a sunny but windy day, to try and win the 2019 Triton 17TX powered by a 60HP Mercury four-stroke with Garmin Echo-map plus 93SV valued at 20K. With a massive six-and-a-half-pound lead over 2nd place, Seth Davis and Brent Butler took the victory weighing in 5 fish for a whopping weight of 29.69 pounds.
