Russell Clark wins on Lake Russell
Twenty-two anglers competed in the March 11, 2018 AFT D25 tournament at Lake Russell. The day started out at 51 degrees with a light rain that lasted throughout the day with temps rising by a just a few degrees before the 3:30pm weigh in time. Water temps were ranging in the low to mid 50’s with water on the main lake being clear and the creeks being stained due to the rainfall.
Russell Clark of Abbeville, SC took the win with a 5 fish limit weighing in at 16.58lbs. Russell earned $559.00 for 1st Place plus an additional $132.00 for 1st Place in the Option Pot for total earnings of $691.00
Jason Burroughs of Hodges, SC finished in 2nd Place with a limit worth 15.93lbs. Jason earned $331.00 for 2nd Place and $88.00 for 2nd Place in the Option Pot for a total of $419.00.
Danny Ashley of Donalds, SC finished in third with a limit worth 14.30lbs. Danny earned $108.00 for his 3rd Place finish.
Darren Ashley of Calhoun Falls, SC came in 4th Place with a limit weighing in at 14.01lbs. Darren earned $79.00 for his 4th Place finish.
Bobby Murdock of Honea Path, SC won the Big Fish honors with a 5.00lb largemouth. Bobby earned $110 for the Big Fish Pot.

Rickie Bonner Takes the Win on the Tensaw River
December 8, 2018, Mobile, AL. Rickie Bonner of Mobile, Alabama won the American Fishing Tour Division 41 tournament presented by American Bass Anglers. Running out of Live Oak Landing near Stockton, Alabama Bonner brought back five-fish that locked in the scales at 11.76-lbs anchored by a 3.23-pound kicker. For the victory, Bonner took home a check for $376.
South Carolina Couples Cancels 12/8 Tournament
The South Carolina Couples Division 11 has canceled the 12/8 tournament scheduled for Lake Wateree. This decision has been made due to falling lake levels, the ramp and the launch site is inaccessible.
