Ingram Leads Championship Day One
ATHENS, Ala. – Ryan Ingram Leads the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour National Championship on Lake Eufaula in Alabama.
Launching out of Lakepoint State Park, the field of 320 anglers is dealing with sudden weather and temperature changes to find a way to rise to the top of the competition. The three-day event will be taken down to the end to determine who comes out as the winner. The area has experienced a couple days of constant rainfall, but clear skies are in the forecast for the remainder of the event. Certain anglers have mentioned that the varying conditions have leveled the playing field a bit, but the next two days will prove the solidity to that theory.

We launched from the Lake Barkley State Park ramp at 8:30 AM and weighed in at 3:30 PM. A lot of short fish were reported caught, but the keepers came tough for most. A total of 10 bass were brought to the scales for a combined weight of 30.84 pounds. We paid out a total of $680 including Men’s and Ladies Big Bass pots.
