Mayo and Glasgow Take Home New Triton Boat

The team of Bill Mayo and Allan Glasgow won the second event of the Triton 100% Plus Team Tour in the Alabama division on March 4th at Neely Henry.  Mayo and Glasgow brought in the winning limit weighing 21.41 pounds.  For their victory they took home a brand-new Triton Boats 17TX with a Mercury 60 HP four stroke outboard motor with a Garmin Echomap Plus93SV valued at $20,000.
Hunter Penney and Michael Penney finished second with 17.66 pounds to take home a check for $2250.
“We burned the banks. That’s all we did all day long, all the way up and down the river.  We caught our fish on crankbaits. “stated Penney.
In third place was Chris Speck and Terry Ezzell. They brought in a 17.01-pound bag including a 5.56-pound kicker that earned them big bass of the tournament. Speck and Ezzell took home $1600 for third place along with $590 for big bass.
“We had a long day.  It was kind of one here and one there most of the day, we just got the right bites.  Caught them all on spinnerbaits.,” said Speck.

Finishing fourth, Damien Willis and Tyler Kiker landed a five-bass limit for 16.92 pounds.  Blake Hal and Andrew Hamilton rounded out the top five teams with five bass that weighed 16.62 pounds.
