Wayne Davenport Wins on Lake Hartwell
Wayne Davenport of Anderson, SC won the American Fishing Tour Division 25 tournament on Lake Hartwell held February 18th. Wayne brought in a 5-fish limit weighing 15.22lbs and earned $559.00 for the win.
Grover Jones of Starr, SC came in second with 4 fish weighing 13.17lbs. He earned $331 + $126 for 1st Place in the Option Pot for total earnings of $457.00.
Danny Ashley of Donalds, SC finished in third with a 5-fish limit weighing 13.07lbs. Danny earned $108 + $84 for 2nd Place in the Option Pot for total earnings of $192.00.
John Nixon of Anderson, SC finished fourth with a 5-fish limit weighing 12.73lbs. John earned $79.00.
Jeff Cooper of Anderson, SC won Big Fish honors with a 6.07lb largemouth. Jeff collected $110.00 for that hook set.
The day started out at 45 degrees and was up to 67 degrees and mostly sunny by the 3pm weigh in time. Water temps were ranging from 53-58 degrees with clear to stained water in the backs of the creeks due to the recent rainfalls.

Rickie Bonner Takes the Win on the Tensaw River
December 8, 2018, Mobile, AL. Rickie Bonner of Mobile, Alabama won the American Fishing Tour Division 41 tournament presented by American Bass Anglers. Running out of Live Oak Landing near Stockton, Alabama Bonner brought back five-fish that locked in the scales at 11.76-lbs anchored by a 3.23-pound kicker. For the victory, Bonner took home a check for $376.
South Carolina Couples Cancels 12/8 Tournament
The South Carolina Couples Division 11 has canceled the 12/8 tournament scheduled for Lake Wateree. This decision has been made due to falling lake levels, the ramp and the launch site is inaccessible.
