Division 10 Starts at Big Sam Rayburn
ATHENS, Ala. – The South East Texas division of the American Bass Anglers Open Series will hold its first event of the 2018 season on February 24th in Brookeland, TX on Sam Rayburn Reservoir. Sam Rayburn is known for its monster bags this time of year so don’t miss your chance on the excitement.
The competitors will launch at the public ramp in Brookeland, located at County Road 225 adjacent to the Umphrey Pavilion. Anglers will begin fishing at safe light with the weigh-in starting at 3 p.m. Onsite registration and check in will be from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM Friday Feb 23rd at the Umphrey Pavilion. To enter, anglers fishing the Boater Division pay $200 with co-anglers paying $100. First place is a guaranteed minimum of $5,000.00 for boaters. To learn more about the payout, visit http://www.abaopenseries.com/payout.php
Anglers fishing the Boater Division may weigh in up to five bass, each at least 14 inches long. Co-anglers may weigh in up to three bass. Texas fishing license required.

Steve Perkins Takes the win on Texoma
Steve Perkins of Velma, OK won the American Fishing Tour Division 112 Wichita Falls TX tournament presented by American Bass Anglers held November 10, on Lake Texoma. Running out of Soldier Creek near Kingston, Ok. Steve brought back 5-bass that locked in the scales at 15.68-lbs. anchored by a 4.74-lb smallmouth kicker. For the victory, Steve took home a check for $507.
Lake Neely Henry to Host the 2019 Couples Championship
ATHENS, Ala. – November 09, 2018 -- American Bass Anglers announced today the 2019 American Couples Tour Championship, will be hosted by the City of Gadsden and Coosa Landing. The event will take place September 16- 20, 2019 at Coosa Landing on H. Neely Henry Lake in Gadsden, AL. The onsite registration and dinner will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019.
