Draskovic wins on Guntersville
From Division 29, Alabama North - Ken Draskovic of Scottsboro , Al is one step closer to the 2018 ABA National Championship with a 1st Place win during the RAM American Fishing Tour bass tournament held at Lake Guntersville on the 28th of October 2017. The forecast predicted heavy rain and the first cold weather of the year. They were right. Heavy rain, gusting wind and temperatures in the 40s did not stop 14 anglers from a day of fishing. Five limits were brought to the scales and Ken’s bag weighed 13.54 pounds. Larry Laney, of Bryant Al, placed 2nd with 11.75 pounds. Big bass was a 4.11 pounder caught by Harold Wilson of Canton, GA. A variety of reaction lures were credited by the successful anglers.
These anglers are acquiring valuable points to insure their birth in this division’s two-day championship and the American Fishing Tour 2018 National Championship on Lake Hartwell. Their points are also being used to determine the divisional angler of the year. The top angler by points earned in this division will represent the division in the Angler of the Year final round.
