Steve Phillips Take Win on Seminole

Steve Phillips from Sneads, FL is one step closer to the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship with a first place win in the Ram American Fishing Tour Seminole Division 114 bass tournament held on Lake Seminole November 5, 2017. Steve’s limit weighed in at 23.97 pounds.  Big Bass was awarded to Doug Davis Jr for catching a 6.33 pound largemouth bass. 

These anglers are acquiring valuable points to insure their birth in to the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship. Their points are also being used to determine the divisional angler of the year. The top angler by points earned in this division will represent the division in the Angler of the Year final round.

The top six anglers were:
1. Steve Phillips      23.97 lbs.                        
2. Clabion Johns       18.08 lbs.
3. Lee McVay           16.76 lbs.
4. Nick Brown          16.60 lbs.
5. Rick Tindell        16.32 lbs.
6. Bradley Enfinger    15.54 lbs.   

Conditions: Clear skies condition high of 88 for the day. Waters temperatures were in the low 70's.  Water was clear.

Winning Strategy: Steve's pattern was fishing Top Water and Flippin!

The Ram American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. North Georgia Couples Division 5 held two one-day tournaments on Saturday and Sunday, February 15-16, 2020.  Changing weather and rising and falling muddy water were some of the conditions anglers had to deal with on Lake Eufaula. Saturday brought very low temperatures and sunny conditions for anglers.  Fishing was tough for most of the nine couples, but a few teams overcame the conditions and caught some nice bags.

ATHENS, Ala. –Michael “Keith” Bardolf won the Bass Pro Shops Open Series Georgia Division tournament, held February 22nd on Lake Eufaula. Running out of Lakepoint Resort State Park in Eufaula, AL Keith caught five bass weighing 20.91 pounds. For the Boater Division victory, Bardolf took home a check for $5200 for his win.

ATHENS, Al. – The 2020 Bass Pro Shops Kentucky / Tennessee Team Tournaments kicked off on Kentucky Lake at Paris Landing State Park with 38 teams battling a cold 20 degrees start. Finishing in 1st place with 5 fish weighing 21.37 lbs. was Chase Hunnell and Mason Nicholson winning a 2020 Triton TX 17 with a Mercury 60 HP 4 stroke outboard valued at $ 20,000. They caught their winning fish flipping shallow cover.
