Jimmie Troxell Takes the win on Blackshear
Jimmie Troxell of Lessburg, GA won the RAM American Fishing Tour presented by American Bass Anglers Georgia-Blackshear Division 74 tournament held October 14th, 2017 on Lake Blackshear. Running out of the Mega Ramp near Cordele, GA Jimmie brought back a five-fish limit that locked in the scales at 10.54 pounds. He anchored his catch with a 3.24-pound kicker. Jimmie took home $337 for his victory.
Second was claimed by Harry Cooper of Unadilla, GA with a five-fish limit that locked in at 10.02 pounds. His catch was anchored by a 2.56-pound kicker. Harry took home $153 for his efforts.
Third was taken by Dwayne Smith of Americus, GA with five fish and a weight of 8.70 pounds.
Fourth was Scotty Downs of Sylvester, GA with a weight of 6.78 pounds. Rounding out the top five was David Holly of Leesburg, GA with a weight of 6.24 pounds.
Big fish honors went to Sammy Moody for a 3.30 pound largemouth.
The next Division 74 tournament will be held November 18th, 2017 on Lake Blackshear launching from the Mega Ramp.

Matt Cantrell is one step closer to the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour National Championship with a 1st place win and earned a total of $294.00, in the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour Tournament, held on the Ogeechee River. Cantrell weighed in five bass, which weighed 11.75-lbs.

The South Carolina Couples Division 11 has canceled the 12/8 tournament scheduled for Lake Wateree. This decision has been made due to falling lake levels, the ramp and the launch site is inaccessible. Galbraith and Mason win the Triton 100% Plus Team Tour Championship
The team of Roy Galbraith of Guin, Alabama and Richard Mason of Athens, Alabama took home the win in the American Bass Anglers Triton Plus 100% Team Tour Championship, held on Pickwick Lake November 3rd and 4th, 2018. Launching out of McFarland Park in Florence, Alabama, the team of Galbraith and Mason caught a five-bass limit on day one weighing 17.28-pounds
