North Carolina and South Carolina Head to Lake Hartwell for Area 4 Championship
ATHENS, Ala. – The North Carolina and South Carolina divisions will hold their final event of the season on October 7th-8th 2017 on Lake Hartwell.
The competitors will launch from Green Pond Landing located at 470 Green Pond Road Anderson, South Carolina 29626. Anglers will begin fishing at 7:00 am or safe light until 3:00 pm on Day One and 7:00 am or safe light until 3:00 pm on Day Two. To enter, anglers fishing the Boater Division pay $300.00 with co-anglers paying $150.00. First place is guaranteed a minimum $10,000.00 for boaters and $5000.00 to the winning co angler. Anglers must have fished three tournaments in a single division or a total of four tournaments within the two divisions to qualify. Anglers fishing the Boater Division may weigh in up to five bass. Co Anglers may weigh in up to three bass. All bass must be a minimum of 12 inches in length.

Tim Weredyk takes the win on Clarks Hill
On November 11th, 2018 twenty-nine anglers launched from the Dorn Facility Landing near McCormick, SC. The temps started out around 33 degrees and warmed up into the low 60’s by the 3 pm weigh in time. Water temps were in the mid 60’s due to several cold rains before the tournament.
Kerry and Heather Wilson win on Lake Jordan
ATHENS, Ala. – Kerry and Heather Wilson won the American Couples Series, operated by American Bass Anglers, Central Alabama Division 1 tournament, held November 10, 2018, on Lake Jordan. Running out of the Bonnor’s Landing, the team caught 5-bass weighing 10.31-pounds. For the victory, they earned a check for $405.00. The Wilson’s caught their fish on swim jigs.
David Wright Wins $10680.00 On Kerr Lake
ATHENS, Ala. –David Wright of Lexington, North Carolina won the American Bass Anglers Open Series Area 8 Championship held on Kerr Lake on November 3-4, 2018. Running out of Nutbush Park in Henderson, North Carolina, Wright weighed in a day one five-bass limit weighing 21.27-pounds.
