Rick West Wins the Two Day Championship on the Roanoke River

Rick West, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina won the RAM American Fishing Tour Division 17, North Carolina Central 2-day Championship Tournament on the Roanoke River.  The event was held on the Roanoke River on 5 & 6 August, 2017, launching out of Water Street Ramp in Plymouth, North Carolina.  Rick caught 10 bass for two-day total weight of 22.46 lbs.

Johnnie Beddard of Ayden, NC and Mike Colbert of Newport, NC tied for day 1 big fish with 3.86 pounders.  Rick West had big fish for day 2 which was also big fish of the tournament weighing 4.17 lbs.  Rick said he caught his fish out across bachelor bay on worms.  Congratulation Rick.
