Curtis Leggett Wins on Tar River
On May 6, 2017 Division 15 held its Sixth tournament of the 2017 Ram American Fishing Tour season ran out of Tranter Creek in Washington, NC. Taking first place was Curtis Leggett of Snow Hill, NC he caught 5 bass weighing 12.47 pounds. Curtis also had the Big Bass of the tournament weighing in at 5.35 pounds. Curtis took home a check for $406.00 for first place, and $140.00 for Big Bass, all totaling $546.00. Curtis caught his fish on a little of everything.
In second among the competitors, Danny Flynn of Bethel, NC, caught 5 bass weighing 12.32 pounds. Danny pocketed a check for $200.00 and $91.00 for 1st place TWT, all totaling $291.00.
Taking third place, Larry Thomas, of Washington, NC, caught 5 bass weighing 12.01 pounds. Larry pocketed a check for $79.00 and 2nd place TWT for $39.00, all totaling $118.00.
In fourth place, Andrew Skinner, of Winterville, NC, with 5 bass weighing 11.77 pounds. J
Jordan Brown of LaGrange, NC, rounded out the top five competitors with 5 bass weighing 11.55 pounds.
The next divisional tournament will be held 6/24/2017 on Neuse River in New Bern, NC.
