It feels great to win one, I had to go look at the final standings again to make sure my name was on top.” Kimbrough said.

“I fished up the river a few miles. I caught my fish swimming a jig and one later in the day deep on a football head jig. It was a better morning bite. I went about five hours without a bite today.” Bradley said.

James Murphy of Phenix City, AL placed third among the co-anglers with three bass going 8.09 pounds. He earned $300 for his catch.
“I caught all my fish on a football head jig. I lost one this morning but I don’t know if it would have helped me today. I was fishing grass and rock to catch my fish today.” Murphy said.
