Hall Wins on The Potomac River
Hart Hall of Alexandria, VA. wins the April 23rd Maryland AFT D11 tournament on the Potomac River. Hart brought a five fish limit to the scale that weighed 18.23 pounds.
"I tried to figure out a place that would be protected and not pressured since the weather was calling for winds and there was a large tournament the day before. It turned out to be the right decision. I had my limit fairly early and caught fish all day using Duckett rods with Abu Garcia Revo reels spooled up with Sunline FC Sniper flourocarbon fishing a bladed jig and pitching soft plastics dyed with Spike-It loaded with Trokar hooks in the grass. The key to getting bites was presentation which changed as the tide did."
Edward Kenyon of Indian Head, MD took second place with 15.55 pounds.
The tournament Big Bass was caught by Aaron Dixon weighing in at 4.39 pounds.
Top Five Finishers:
1. Hart Hall 18.23
