Louisiana Heads to Toledo Bend
ATHENS, Ala. – The Louisiana of the Ram Truck Open Series will hold its next event of the season on Feb 25, 2017, on Toledo Bend near Many, Louisiana.
The competitors will launch at Cypress Bend Park, located at 3462 Cypress Bend Drive, Many, LA. 71449. Anglers may begin fishing at safe light. The weigh-in will begin at 3 p.m. Registration begins at 4 p.m. Friday Feb 24th at Cypress Bend Park. To register for this tournament, see us at the stage trailer by the pavilion.
To enter, anglers fishing the Boater division pay $200 with Co-Anglers paying $100. First place is guaranteed a minimum $5,000 first place for Boaters. To learn more about the payout visit www.ramopenseries.com/payout.php
Anglers fishing the Boater Division may weigh in up to five bass, each at least 14 inches long. Co-anglers may weigh in up to three bass.
In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, Boater and Co-Angler competitors fishing this tournament and Ram Truck Open Series events throughout the season may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, MotorGuide, T-H Marine, ABU Garcia, Maui Jim and Livingston Lures. Team Tour Championship Postponed
Out of an overabundance of caution The Team Tour Championship that was scheduled for 10/10-11/2020 on Wheeler Lake has be postponed. The National Weather Service is forecasting winds of 10-20 mph with gust up to 35mph for Saturday, and winds of 10-15 mph with gust up to 20 mph Sunday. The safety of our anglers is the number on concern and factor when making the tough decisions on postponing a tournament.
