Neal Takes Win On Russell
Kim Neal of Easley, South Carolina won the Ram American Fishing Tour South Carolina D25 season opener on Lake Russell on September 18th. Kim was the only angler to catch a five fish limit weighing 11.24 pounds. He reported catching fish on the upper part of the lake on a Shakey head worm. Kim earned a total of $430 for his efforts.
Finishing in second place with a four fish limit was Grover Jones of Starr, South Carolina weighing in 7.36 pounds. Grover also had Big Fish of the event with a 3.92 pound largemouth. Grover reported catching his fish shallow around shoreline cover on small crank baits. Grover earned a total of $249 for his efforts.

The day started off at 68 degrees and by weigh in time it was up to 86 degrees. The water temps were 82-84 degrees and the majority of the lake was clear. There was a lot of schooling activity mentioned by everyone but most fish were small spotted bass. The next D25 tournament will be held at Lake Hartwell, October 9th launching out of the Green Pond facility.

Rickie Bonner Takes the Win on the Tensaw River
December 8, 2018, Mobile, AL. Rickie Bonner of Mobile, Alabama won the American Fishing Tour Division 41 tournament presented by American Bass Anglers. Running out of Live Oak Landing near Stockton, Alabama Bonner brought back five-fish that locked in the scales at 11.76-lbs anchored by a 3.23-pound kicker. For the victory, Bonner took home a check for $376.

The South Carolina Couples Division 11 has canceled the 12/8 tournament scheduled for Lake Wateree. This decision has been made due to falling lake levels, the ramp and the launch site is inaccessible. Galbraith and Mason win the Triton 100% Plus Team Tour Championship
The team of Roy Galbraith of Guin, Alabama and Richard Mason of Athens, Alabama took home the win in the American Bass Anglers Triton Plus 100% Team Tour Championship, held on Pickwick Lake November 3rd and 4th, 2018. Launching out of McFarland Park in Florence, Alabama, the team of Galbraith and Mason caught a five-bass limit on day one weighing 17.28-pounds
