NE Heads to Raystown For Two-Day Championship

ATHENS, Ala. – The North East Division of the Ram Truck Open Series will hold its two-day Area Championship on September 10th and 11th, 2016 on Raystown Lake near Huntingdon, Pennsylvannia.

The competitors will launch both days at 7 Points Marina, located at 5922 Seven Points Marina Dr. Hesston, PA. 16647. Anglers may begin fishing at 6:00 a.m. or safe light. The weigh-in will begin at 3:00 p.m. each day. Registration begins at 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 9th, at the stage at Seven Points Marina. 

You must have fished three events in one division or a total of four events in an area to qualify. If you qualify, you can register for this tournament online www.ramopenseries.com, call the main office at (256)232-0406, or call the tournament manager, Jeff Randall at (256)777-6152. 

To enter, anglers fishing the Boater division pay $300 with Co-Anglers paying $150. First place is guaranteed a minimum $10,000 first place for Boaters and $5,000 to the winning Co-Angler. To learn more about the payout visit www.ramopenseries.com/payout.php 

Anglers fishing the Boater division may weigh in five bass, each at least 12 inches long. Co-Anglers may weigh in up to three bass. 

In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, Boater and Co-Angler competitors fishing this tournament and Ram Truck Open Series events throughout the season may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, MotorGuide, T-H Marine, ABU Garcia, Maui Jim, and Livingston Lures.
