Vitale Takes Win on Greenwood Lake
Art Vitale of Kenilworth, New Jersey won the AFT New Jersey D10 event held on August 13th at Greenwood Lake. Art caught five bass weighing 12.48 pounds with a 3.08 -pound kicker Smallmouth. He caught most of his fish using soft plastic in deep weeds, Drop Shotting. For the victory, Vitale took home a check for $406.
In second among the competitors was Lucas “Bogo” Bogosian of Harrington Park, New Jersey who caught five bass weighing 11.62 pounds. Bogosain took home a check for $200. Lucas caught his fish with a variety of techniques; however he was using Venom Lures and Hi Seas line.
In third among the competitors was Al Pallavicini of Ringwood, New Jersey who caught five fish weighing 10.32 pounds. Al was pitching soft plastics on docks. Al collected a check for $79.

Next Event for the New Jersey D10 is the 2-day Divisional Championship on Hopatcong/Greenwood scheduled for August 20th and 21st with the safety briefing starting at 5:15 am Saturday morning.

R. V. Mann Jr. wins on Lake Gaston
R. V. Mann Jr., of Whitkers, North Carolina won the AFT Division 17, North Carolina Central tournament on Lake Gaston. The event was held on Lake Gaston on 17 November 2018, launching out of Salmon Landing (Little Stonehouse Creek) off of 903 in Littleton, North Carolina. It was a tough day of fishing starting off in the lower 30’s, warming to around 55 in the afternoon.
Kerry and Heather Wilson win on Lake Jordan
ATHENS, Ala. – Kerry and Heather Wilson won the American Couples Series, operated by American Bass Anglers, Central Alabama Division 1 tournament, held November 10, 2018, on Lake Jordan. Running out of the Bonnor’s Landing, the team caught 5-bass weighing 10.31-pounds. For the victory, they earned a check for $405.00. The Wilson’s caught their fish on swim jigs.
