Buss Cleans Up Jacksonville

Rich Buss of Channahon, Illinois, for the 2nd time this year, took 1st place and had big bass in this weekend's AFT D39 event held on August 7th. His sweep of Jacksonville included a 4.13 pound largemouth and a 9.32 pound bag.

Scott James of Wilmington, Illinois took 2nd place with a total weight of 6.39 pounds.

Our final event for D39 is our 2 day event on the Mississippi Pool 13, August 20th and 21st. If you have fished 4 events this year you are qualified to enter the event. Joseph Yocum fished with Loren Graves and won Airman 1st place and Big Bass. He had 11.38 lbs anchored with the big one that went 4.5 lbs. Chad & Toni Prough Win Bass Pro Shops Couples Series National Championship Event on Lake Eufaula

ATHENS, Ala. –The team of Chad and Toni Prough of Chipley, FL won the Bass Pro Shops Couples Series National Championship event held on Lake Eufaula on 10/7-8/2021. On day one, the team sacked up a five bass limit weighing 17.43 pounds. On day two, the team caught another five bass limit weighing 11.44 pounds for a total of 28.87 pounds. For the win, the Proughs took home $2,500.00 and an additional $500 for using Garmin units on their boat.

Team Tour Championship Postponed

Out of an overabundance of caution The Team Tour Championship that was scheduled for 10/10-11/2020 on Wheeler Lake has be postponed.  The National Weather Service is forecasting winds of 10-20 mph with gust up to 35mph for Saturday, and winds of 10-15 mph with gust up to 20 mph Sunday.  The safety of our anglers is the number on concern and factor when making the tough decisions on postponing a tournament.  The new dates for the Team Tour Championship will be November 21-22 on Wheeler Lak
