TX East Set For Final One Day at Palestine

ATHENS, Ala. – The East Texas division of the Ram Truck Open Series will hold its last event of the season July 30th, 2016 on Lake Palestine near Tyler, TX.

The competitors will launch at The Villages Marina, located off 18270 Singing Wood Ln, Flint, TX. Anglers will begin fishing at safe light and the weigh-in will begin at 2 PM. On-site registration/check-in will take place at The Villages Marina from 4:30-6:30 PM on Friday July 29th with the safety briefing and partner pairing at 7 PM. To enter, anglers fishing the Boater Division pay $200 with Co-Anglers paying $100. First place is guaranteed a minimum $5,000 first place for Boaters. To learn more about the payout, visit www.ramopenseries.com/payout.php 

Anglers fishing the Boater Division may weigh in up to five bass, each at least 14 inches long. Co-anglers may weigh in up to three bass. 

In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, Boater and Co-Angler competitors fishing this tournament and Ram Truck Open Series events throughout the season may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, Motor Guide, T-H Marine, ABU Garcia, Maui Jim and Livingston Lures.
