Jay Carter Wins on Stockton Lake by Ounces
Jay Carter won the May 21st Ram American Fishing Tour D126 tournament on Stockton by less than half an ounce; he weighed in a five fish limit of 11.55 pounds while second place went to Mike Carter with 11.53 pounds. Both anglers’ big fish weighed about the same, 3.30 pounds and 3.45 pounds.
Third and fourth place was also separated by ounces as Bryon Maze weighed in 9.17 pounds to take third and Ricky Clemen had 9.13 pounds to finish in fourth.
Joey Wyatt rounded out the top five with 8.80 pounds. Big Bass winner went to Wayne Sprayberry with a 5.37 pound largemouth. First place paid $522, second place won $308 and third place took $101. Big Bass winner took $190.
The weather was clear and sunny with very little wind. The water temperature was around 65 degrees. Anglers reported the bite being slow, with most of the better fish being caught in stained water on beaver type soft plastic.
The next tournament for Division 126 will be June 25, 2016 on Stockton Lake using Old State Park as launch site. The full schedule can be seen at www.centralmidwestbass.com. The season will culminate with a 2-day Championship set for August 27-28, 2016. Anglers fish each tournament for cash and prizes from area sponsors including Pete’s, the Outboard Doctor, Albers Marine, Happy O’s, Legacy Farm & Lawn John Deere and Antlers Ridge, as well as points that qualify them to fish a National Championship to be held on Lake Eufaula, AL October 18-22, 2016.

These anglers are earning valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual Ram American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of the Year Final Round at the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship.
The Ram American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the US are invited to the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship.

Don Sprinkle Takes the win on High Rock Lake
Don Sprinkle of Lexington, NC won the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour Divison 14 tournament presented by American Bass Anglers. Running out of Southmont ramp near Lexington, NC. Don Sprinkle brought back five fish that locked in the scales at 13.82 pounds anchored by a 4.54-pound kicker. For the victory, Don Sprinkle took home a check for $432.00.
Treye and Carol Ward win on Kentucky Lake
The ABA Bass Pro Shops Couples Series Kentucky Lake Division experienced a very successful weekend. We had 14 teams participate. The weather was very wet and windy but the lake was cooperative and relatively smooth all day considering the conditions. All 14 teams weighed fish at the end of the day. 48 fish were caught weighing over 153 pounds. All fish were released alive and well. We paid out a total of $1,190.
McMillan Wins $2400 on Lake Okeechobee
ATHENS, Ala. – Dillon McMillan of Belle Glade, FL won the Bass Pro Shops Open Series Florida South tournament, held May 18th on the Lake Okeechobee. Running out of Scott Driver Park in Okeechobee, FL Dillon caught five bass weighing 23.03 pounds. For the Boater Division victory, McMillan took home a check for $2400 for his win.
Davis and Butler win a new Triton boat on Lake Guntersville
Sunday, May 5th, 2019 the ABA Triton 100% Plus Team Tour held its second tournament of the regular season that launched from Goosepond Bait and Tackle on Lake Guntersville located in Scottsboro, AL. Eighty-three teams went head to head, on a sunny but windy day, to try and win the 2019 Triton 17TX powered by a 60HP Mercury four-stroke with Garmin Echo-map plus 93SV valued at 20K. With a massive six-and-a-half-pound lead over 2nd place, Seth Davis and Brent Butler took the victory weighing in 5 fish for a whopping weight of 29.69 pounds.
