Brian Gunn Wins on the Savannah River
Brian Gunn is one step closer to the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship with a first place win in the Division 94 Tournament held on the Savannah River. Gunn weighed in two bass at 4.52 pounds winning $377. Second place, Barry Descaro brought two bass to the scales for a total weight of 2.96 pounds. Cody Moss, with two bass weighing 2.66, placed third. Fourth place went to Joe Toth with one bass weighing 1.38 pounds and fifth place went to Lucio Marroquin with one bass weighing 1.26 pounds. Brian Gunn caught the day’s big bass at 2.73 pounds.

At launch time the temperatures were in the mid 50's with cloud cover. The day continued with temperatures topping out in the low 50's, clear throughout the day. Water temperatures were in the mid 40's with the river being at a flood stage of 17.5 feet.
The bait of the day was plastic, jigs, with some crankbaits action. The anglers reported fishing mainly in the oxbows and tide water.

These anglers are earning valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual Ram American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of the Year Final Round at the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship.
The Ram American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. Steve Dobbs Wins D72 on Sinclair
Steve Dobbs of McDonough, Ga brought the winning 5 fish limit to the scale for D72 on November 9, 2019, at Lake Sinclair for the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour. His total weight of 11.40 pounds won the First-place trophy and $765 cash. Steve secured his sack with a 3.78 pounder and won the Big Bass trophy plus additional cash of $380. He said he caught these fish using a square bill crankbait and a shaky head.

John Rice and Paul Arnold Take Home Two New Tritons at Chickamauga
John Rice of Huntsville, Al and Paul Arnold of Woodville, Al. won the Bass Pro Shops Team Tour Championship, held October 5th and 6th on Lake Chickamauga. Launching out of Dayton Boat Dock and Grill. John and Paul went straight to work and caught a two-day limit of 10 bass weighing 36.51 pounds. For their victory, the team took home 2 Triton TX-17 boats equipped with 60 HP Mercury outboards and Garmin electronics valued at $40,000.
