Ram Truck Open Series Event Canceled Due to High Winds

Okeechobee, FL - January 23, 2016 - The January 23, 2016Ram Truck Open Series event at Lake Okeechobee was cancelled this morning.  The National Weather Service in Melbourne, FL issued a wind advisory early this morning in effect until 7:00 PM EST.  Anticipated sustained winds of around 25MPH with dangerous gusts 35 to 40 PMH anticipated.  The decision to cancel was made with the safety of our anglers in mind, which is our highest priority. 

A rescheduled date will be established as soon as possible and all registered anglers should check Ram Truck Open Series website, www.ramopenseries.com, for new information or call (256) 232-0406 to get updated information on transfers or refunds.
