Draskovic Takes First at Lake Wheeler
Ken Draskovic of Scottsboro, AL is one step closer to the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship with a first place win in the Ram American Fishing Tour Alabama North division 29 bass tournament held on Lake Wheeler November 7th, 2015. Ken’s limit weighed in at 13.01 pounds. Big Bass was awarded to David Dennis for catching a 5.59 pound largemouth
These anglers are acquiring valuable points to insure their birth in to the division’s two-day champion and the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship. Their points are also being used to determine the divisional angler of the year. The top angler by points earned in this division will represent the division in the Angler of the Year final round.
The top two anglers were:
1. Ken Draskovic 13.01 lbs.
2. David Dennis 12.48 lbs.
Conditions: Rainy cold and overcast most of the day. Waters temperatures were in the 60's. Water was down four feet and dirty.
Winning Strategy: Ken used a variety of Crankbaits, while David used a worm to get the job done.

R. V. Mann Jr. wins on Lake Gaston
R. V. Mann Jr., of Whitkers, North Carolina won the AFT Division 17, North Carolina Central tournament on Lake Gaston. The event was held on Lake Gaston on 17 November 2018, launching out of Salmon Landing (Little Stonehouse Creek) off of 903 in Littleton, North Carolina. It was a tough day of fishing starting off in the lower 30’s, warming to around 55 in the afternoon.
Kerry and Heather Wilson win on Lake Jordan
ATHENS, Ala. – Kerry and Heather Wilson won the American Couples Series, operated by American Bass Anglers, Central Alabama Division 1 tournament, held November 10, 2018, on Lake Jordan. Running out of the Bonnor’s Landing, the team caught 5-bass weighing 10.31-pounds. For the victory, they earned a check for $405.00. The Wilson’s caught their fish on swim jigs.

Launching out of McFarland Park in Florence, Alabama, the team of Galbraith and Mason caught a five-bass limit on day one weighing 17.28-pounds
