Jay Carter Takes Win and Claims AOY on Stockton Lake
American Bass Anglers Division 126 held its Two-Day Championship August 1-2, 2015 on Stockton Lake. You could say it was a tough bite, then look at the results and you’ll know it was a tough bite. Only nine fish were weighed in on Day One, with the lead going to Jay Carter with two fish that weighed 3.84lbs. Michael Henderson of Lamar had Big Bass with a 2.76 pound largemouth.
Day Two was a little better with 23 fish coming to the scales. Carter held the lead with four fish weighing 8.30 pounds giving him the winning total of 12.14 pounds. Second place went to Mike Dill with 7.26 pounds, which included Big Bass for Day Two and Big Bass of the tournament, a largemouth weighing 5.61 pounds.
In addition to winning the tournament, Jay Carter captured Angler of the Year for Division 126 which qualifies him to compete in the AOY Fish-Off to be held on Hartwell Lake in South Carolina October 22-24, 2015. He will fish against 40-60 AOY's for a fully rigged Triton Bass Boat.
ABA will invite the top 500 anglers from all divisions to fish the 2015 Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship which will be held at the same time as the AOY Fish-Off. The top 250 anglers will be guaranteed boaters, the next 250 will be non-boaters. The winner and the highest finishing non-boater of this tournament will each receive a fully rigged Triton Bass Boat.

D126 fall schedule will begin qualifying anglers for 2016 championships. The schedule is as follows: October 31, 2015; November 21, 2015; December 19, 2015. Don Sprinkle Takes the win on High Rock Lake
Don Sprinkle of Lexington, NC won the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour Divison 14 tournament presented by American Bass Anglers. Running out of Southmont ramp near Lexington, NC. Don Sprinkle brought back five fish that locked in the scales at 13.82 pounds anchored by a 4.54-pound kicker. For the victory, Don Sprinkle took home a check for $432.00.
Treye and Carol Ward win on Kentucky Lake
The ABA Bass Pro Shops Couples Series Kentucky Lake Division experienced a very successful weekend. We had 14 teams participate. The weather was very wet and windy but the lake was cooperative and relatively smooth all day considering the conditions. All 14 teams weighed fish at the end of the day. 48 fish were caught weighing over 153 pounds. All fish were released alive and well. We paid out a total of $1,190.
McMillan Wins $2400 on Lake Okeechobee
ATHENS, Ala. – Dillon McMillan of Belle Glade, FL won the Bass Pro Shops Open Series Florida South tournament, held May 18th on the Lake Okeechobee. Running out of Scott Driver Park in Okeechobee, FL Dillon caught five bass weighing 23.03 pounds. For the Boater Division victory, McMillan took home a check for $2400 for his win.
Davis and Butler win a new Triton boat on Lake Guntersville
Sunday, May 5th, 2019 the ABA Triton 100% Plus Team Tour held its second tournament of the regular season that launched from Goosepond Bait and Tackle on Lake Guntersville located in Scottsboro, AL. Eighty-three teams went head to head, on a sunny but windy day, to try and win the 2019 Triton 17TX powered by a 60HP Mercury four-stroke with Garmin Echo-map plus 93SV valued at 20K. With a massive six-and-a-half-pound lead over 2nd place, Seth Davis and Brent Butler took the victory weighing in 5 fish for a whopping weight of 29.69 pounds.
