Guilbeau Takes Win on Clarks Hill
Our winner, Mike Guilbeau, was fishing in the Little River and Savannah River area using top water lures.
Second place went to Douglas Buturla with10.28 pounds, Douglas also had big fish a 5.16 pounder.
Nine anglers fished this Clarks Hill Lake one-day qualifying tournament. It started out at 85 degrees and ended with the 3 pm weigh-in at 99 degrees. It was sunny with a light wind most of the day and winds from the west. Water temperature was 85 degrees. The main lake was clear.

1 - Mike Guilbeau of North Augusta, SC - 5 fish 11.79 lbs. 191 pts. and $313.00
2 - Douglus Buturla - 3 fish 10.28 lbs. 190 pts and $128.00 plus $45.00 big fish total $173.00
3 - Eric Mora of Appling, GA.- 4 fish 9.07 lbs. 189 pts.
4 - Bart Blackburn of North Augusta, SC - 5 fish 7.86 188 pts.
5 - William Hooker - 4 fish 6.52 187 pts.

These anglers accrued valuable points toward the Divisional Angler of the Year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the RAM AFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, RAM AFT National Championship tournament. The RAM American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points.
